I arrived at school and was excited to go to the Museum of Natural Science. On the bus ride to the museum of natural science I was very bored so I decided to count stop signs while my friends were counting traffic cones and people. When we left the bus I ended with a grand total of 25 stop signs and my friends ended with 103 people and about 500 traffic cones. I got destroyed. We stopped outside then talked about what our groups would be. I was with Mr. Robbins advisory along with mine for a group. We went to a lot of exhibits, but my favorite was definitely the one with the snakes because there was this one snake that followed your finger if you touched the glass. We also went to a RACE exhibit which I thought was very cool because it taught me all about race and how it affects people. They also had a place where you could rate the exhibit from one to five. I had an amazing time and the museum of natural science.

Camp Hanes

In the morning on Thursday the 6th grade got on a bus to go to Camp Hanes. When I arrived at my school I set my bags down by the fifth grade pod. Then a charter bus arrived and then I put my bags on the bus. I got on the bus and then I went to Camp Hanes. Once I arrived, we put our bags in the indoor gymnasium. Then we found our cabins.

Once we found our cabins we did some activities. My favorite was canoeing. When we got to canoeing they told us how to board a boat. Then we got a partner, put on our life jackets, and then picked a boat. After that we boarded our boat and went canoeing. After I was done canoeing we went back to the airnasium.

I am very proud that I got to go on a field trip post-covid. I had an amazing experience at Camp Hanes. I had a lot of fun at the activities and having s’mores. My favorite part of the trip was definitely canoeing and having fun with my friends. Camp Hanes was definitely the best field trip I have ever been on.
